Mental Health Education Trainer

I am certified to teach the Evidenced Based NAMI Family to Family 12 class Education course. I have taught hundreds of family members over the last 20 years. I am also a certified Teacher Trainer for this and other NAMI Signature programs.

I have over 16 years experience presenting to local law enforcement officers training to be certified as PERT (Psychiatric Emergency Response Team) Officers, county CHP, and other county law enforcement departments.

Mental Health Program Design

I performed the staffing design for a new Peer and Family Engagement program with the lead contractor. I worked within the program as the sub contract Program lead responsible for hiring and training of staff.

I oversaw design of the first 70 hour training curriculum for Family Members seeking to or already working in the Behavioral Health Field using lived experience. Provided technical assistance to modify into 20 hr and 40 hr. Webinar based courses.

I designed the training curriculum for Faith leaders to present mental health topics to congregations or community.
